Storage Units at 6501 Hillsborough St in Raleigh, NC 27606

Very easy to rent storage units here. Seems to be the least expensive in the area. I did all of the paperwork online and never had to meet anyone in person. The only disappointment I had is the site runs downhill straight towards my unit so water shedding & flooding my unit is always in the back of my mind.

Fast Service. Reserved A Unit But Put The Wrong Date And They Were Very Understanding And Help Fix The Problem On The Spot.

I have been storing with SecurCare almost 2 years and intend to remain.I have had some tight situations with timing and Cam has always came through for me.Always poised, laid back and quick to help.10 stars not 5 if it was possible.

Overall, I've had a very pleasant experience with this location. Cam in particular, who always seems to be there when I call, is very polite and helpful. My only complaint is the constant borage of texts, calls, and emails I get for being late on a payment. I dont mind the fees as much, but getting a call and text every single day about it is kind of a bother. That being said, when I informed them that I was ready to close my account they forgot to do it that day and ended up billing me for another month. The issue was quickly averted when I called and my man Cam waived the rent fee and closed my account that moment. Thanks guys

Manager - Cam Williams The narrative is this, I walked into the office to take issue with that of an increase in my storage unit rent with no real stipulations for why it was increased other than the rental agreement stating in common language that the corporation may increase rent at any given moment if they see the need to. I approached the conversation very calmly and inquired of this action taken, Cam then proceeded to locate my rental agreement to show the fine print laying the corporation’s guidelines for rental agreement increases. Cam advised me of my ability to dispute the matter through their chain of command on the basis of belief that I, the customer, disagree with the action taken and justifications for increasing the storage unit rent. I submitted a dispute within their internal communications portal and we both resolved the dispute within the timeline of one business week. Cam is exceptionally professional, his communication ability is warm and safe, and his actions were handled in a timely manner. Cam is in line due for a promotion to receive his very own SecurCare Self Storage Facility location to manage and operate of his own, he is currently a floater manager awaiting his opportunity. On this moment, he earned his stripes to handle operations of his Corporation’s business and to manage his own facility. If he manages customer relationships well, then I believe he handles coworker relationships well too; enough to acquire a deserved promotion. May an executive leader read this, you have an Ace communicator in your employee pool.

Secure place to store my extra things! Staff is always helpful, and the storage lot has cameras that cover all units! One less worry about my personal belonging!

Clean, looks very safe, feels very safe, freshly paved asphalt, doors on units appear to be in great condition, big gate with 24 hour access, reasonably priced units; even the larger units aren’t expensive. I like this place a lot.

Kept pushing more and more upgrades while the place smelled like sewage Update: within a week of the original review, I got a phone call from the manager asking if I wanted to move my unit. She explained that there was a landscaping unit near mine and that it may be a fertilizer that I was smelling. It smelled more like a dead animal or someone hoarding trash in their unit. Nonetheless, I was impressed that they reached out to me and wanted to make things right. Also, it looked as though they had cleaned some units near mine the next time I went there. Adding 2 stars for service.

Got a storage unit from them the other day. The lady was very nice however I did have to stand there for a while and wait for her to come to the office. Apparently the call system was broken. However she apologizes for my wait and looked in to fixing it. Also when signing up for my unit she help me find the best one for my needs then proceeded to help me get the best discount I could get. Great facilities and security seems on point as well. All in all a great storage place and not a bad price.
