Religh was great help at the 50th Street Lubbock TX store. Friendly, informative & helpful. The only reason for the four stars is a miscommunication of the home office witn the lunch hour of the location we used & the price of the unit we wanted to rent, but Religh made it right for us & we were able to rent the unit we needed, which was nice & clean, and at a great price.

Riley was very helpful and pleasant. It was an efficient, pleasant experience.

Where do I begin, this was hands down the best customer service I have ever experienced in my 25 years on this planet. The gentleman, working at the gate went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. My girlfriend and I showed up expecting just to put a lock on the door. Little we did we know that we would leave with much more than that. We left gaining a life long friend. I’d recommend this storage facility to anyone who wants to be amazed with the quality of customer service that rivals the most exquisite hotels known to man.

Got to go online and reserve my storage unit. It allowed e to move into it early the next morning before the office opened and I received a follow up call from the on site manager making sure all was good. Most appreciated!

Whoever helped me on the phone last night (evening, about 730pm to 8pm) was so patient and "hospitable" 😁 that it was hard to hang up with the guy! 😬 Great price and great customer service!👏I sought, I'm glad I did, had a great experience and got a great deal, what more do you want?

I will now recommend this facility as a great storage to do your business with. The most important point I would like to make is the gentleman now managing this facility is the reason I remained a tenant at this facility. Mr. Laing has gone above and beyond for us, been cheerful and courteous, and even assisted with helpful information to help us get moved out fr!om our unit recently. The difference is night and day looking at 9 months ago. The previous manager tended towards rude, arrogant, disrespectful and abrasive. That is only an opinion, however, it is a strong one for a reason. He also deceitfully claimed to be a part time City of Lubbock policeman which was false, as I checked. The current manager and condition of the facility is a vast improvement.

Easy to reserve online. Have talked to 2 cust svc reps on the phone so far, a woman, Leslie, and a guy on the morning of 5/3, and both were friendly, knowledgeable and were able to answer all of my questions. I do need to move in and see how my month-to-month service goes. The only ding is that the beginning payment was processed before I could complete my online contract and I wasn't given a unit #/gate code at that time. I did not know that I would have to add another person's name to be financially responsible for my unit. I had to wait until I heard back from my son later that day after asking for his permission to add his contact info. I had to pause my contract completion. What if I had had no one to join me on the contract? What if I had changed my mind about reserving after reading the entire contract? My money would have needed to have been refunded and could have been held up for who knows how long. The payment should have been processed after I e-signed the online document. Other than that, I'm happy, so far, with my choice to reserve here.

We were satisfied and Richard was very helpful.

The process was streamline easy and very affordable . The first month was FREE it took about 15 minutes from the time I arrived and the time I left. Went over contract put my lock on the door. Happy with how clean and secure it was. The manager made the whole thing from start to finish quick easy affordable with a feeling of ease when I left.

My daughter used Metro for storing her things and on short notice moved to Shreveport for a job. Me and my son helped get her things out of storage and my son did not put the lock on properly. I used this storage on 50th for about a year and they were absolutely fantastic! Even when COVID hit, they worked with me and moving out, Richard helped my moving crew as I was not there. We had such a good experience storing our household items at Metro self storage. From the time I spoke with Richard on the phone calling about what units were available, to the day we moved our things out and Richard was kind enough to bring us some water while we were loading the truck, has been a great experience. My husband was able to come by on his lunch hour to get all the paperwork filled out and the unit set up so that we could just drop all of our things that evening, which was great. Richard has been very friendly throughout the time my daughter and son-in-law stored their household items at Metro. We helped them unload into the storage unit and reload to to the new house. We picked the hottest day of the week to move out of the storage unit, and were sweating up a storm when Richard stopped by to offer us cold water. What a blessing!! We highly recommend Metro Self Storage for your short or long term storage needs.

I can't speak highly enough about this place. I just got a space here this month, but am very impressed so far. The rates are great, acquiring the unit was easy, my space was clean, and the manager was incredibly personable. Each unit is equipped with an alarm, and the manager lives on site so security is great. In fact, my brother was helping me move stuff in and followed my car through the gate without using my code to pass, by the time he was at the end of the row the manager was outside on the phone with the alarm company. This was quickly sorted out of course, but it definitely made me feel like my stuff would be safe. I definitely recommend considering this if you are in need of storage space.

Love it. When we arrived it was 100 degrees outside. They let me check out the space to make sure my stuff would fit before I took everything out of the truck. They helped me through the process so I could help my friends finish emptying the truck into the unit. Then the manager gave all of us bottles of water. It was greatly appreciated, we all needed it. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a space either short term or long.
