It’s so big, you could fit the Statue of Liberty inside with a few feet to spare! Plus, their Jumbotron is massive too! Both of the center-hung sideline displays are 160 feet wide and 72 feet tall! See a Free Concert Under the Stars

It’s rare to find a free concert but, at Levitt Pavillion Arlington, they have them all the time. And when we say all the time, we mean it. There are more than 50 free concerts a year there, almost one a week! From Country to the blues, Latin, Indie rock, and more. Even better, you can bring your cooler with drinks and snacks. (You won’t have to pay ridiculous concert food prices!) In summer, the venue also offers regular Family Movie Nights. Make sure to bring a blanket or lawn chairs and have a blast with the whole fam!

Go to Arlington’s Famous Theme Parks

Arlington is home to two of the best theme parks in the U.S., Six Flags Over Texas and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor. Both are, as you might guess, Texas-sized, with thrilling rides and attractions galore! Six Flags has 50 of them (and counting). They include the world’s first log-flume ride and parachute drop ride, and the higher drop tower! Plus, you’ll see the place where Kelly Clarkson got her start! They include the legendary 72-feet tall Der Stuka water slide!

They include Florida largemouth bass, white crappie, white bass, flathead catfish, and several more. Largemouth bass are the most popular species among fisherman here, and they’re stocked annually. If you’re not big on fishing, you can also rent a kayak or canoe to get out on the water.

Go Hiking and Biking at River Legacy Park

There’s nothing better than spending a day hiking or biking, it’s true. At River Legacy Park, you’ll find over 1300 acres to do just that. Also, they have their own science center where you and the kids can learn about the local flora and fauna. The trails stretch for miles, the scenery is amazing, and wildlife is everywhere. If you go with the kids, check out the animal exhibits and exploration stations, they’re a favorite of visitors!

Go Rock Climbing in Arlington, TX

Rock climbing is an exhilarating sport, no doubt, although it’s pretty risky too. At the Dyno Rock Indoor Climbing Center, though, that risk is negated entirely.
