Pikes Peak
Pikes Peak is the crowning jewel of Colorado Springs. Regardless of whether you plan to do a short or long hike up the mountain, consider staying nearby. Lone Duck Campground, located at the base of Pikes Peak, offers cabins, RV sites and tent sites.
Garden of the Gods
Characterized by large sandstone formations, Garden of the Gods is a registered National Natural Landmark. With Pikes Peak in its backyard, Garden of the Gods makes for spectacular scenery. Plus, it’s close to activities and dining in downtown Colorado Springs.

Cheyenne Mountain State Park
With over 28 miles of trails to explore, Cheyenne Mountain State Park is perfect for people who like to hike, bike and enjoy wildlife. There are 4 campgrounds located within Cheyenne Mountain State Park which feature 51 full hook-up sites and 10 basic tent sites. We recommend Swift Puma and The Meadows. Bonus for pet parents: Most trails are dog-friendly!
